About This Library

BUSY Bar Apps is Ted Tschopp’s library of apps and ideas for the BUSY Bar. It brings the searchable catalog and reading experience of AI.Tedt.org to a small display with many possible jobs.

Complete Apps, Traceable Sources

The community catalog mirrors Max Swinkels’s BUSY Bar Apps repository. Each app keeps its original author, source files, supporting assets, and license notices. Downloads include the full app folder, with hashes and an upstream commit on the detail page.

The importer checks for additions and updates daily at 3 a.m. Pacific. Publication follows validation and a successful build. GitHub’s scheduler can run later than the requested time. See the update history for actual runs.

Apps that disappear upstream are marked archived. Their last mirrored version remains available. Direct community submissions are stored separately and reviewed through pull requests.

Ideas and Conversations

Ratings, comments, and app ideas live in this repository’s GitHub Discussions. These are this site’s community records. Ratings from other galleries are not copied into the score.

What the Download Number Means

A download start is an action on an app’s complete-package download button on this website. It does not prove that the transfer finished or that the app was installed. Copies of source code and individual-file downloads are excluded.

The counter stores app totals and random event IDs used to prevent duplicate retries. It does not store IP addresses, accounts, or browsing histories. Counting is best effort; a counter outage never prevents a download.

Credits and Licenses

Catalog apps and previews are contributed under MIT by their respective authors. Their notices are retained in the mirrored files and complete packages. Gallery source is MIT. See the license and upstream notice.
